English department and IT hold a seminar for foreign teachers

On October 13, 2022 the English Department of Komar University of Science and Technology held a seminar for all expatriates living in Kurdistan, who work with KUST. The seminar was divided into different sessions in which presentations were delivered by different faculty members of the English Department. The topics of discussion included teacher-student relationships, successful communication with students and language related challenges for both faculty members and students. At the end of these sessions, faculty members discussed some personal experiences they had previously for other lecturers who have recently joined Komar University of Science and Technology. Later that day, Mr. Mohammed, an assistant lecturer from IT department gave a detailed presentation to the faculty members on the use of online platforms for teaching and other administrative purposes.
